The shape of an object is the way it appears to the eye, as opposed to its size or dimensions. Shape is a two-dimensional representation of three-dimensional objects.
A shape is usually described by a mathematical equation such as (x + y)² = z². The equation means that for every x and y coordinates, there is a corresponding z value.
